Honeysuckle Projection
As part of their Honeysuckle Placemaking initiative, the University of Newcastle commissioned Forge & Morrow to create a motion graphic that related to the facade design and historical context of the Newcastle Museum. The work would be projected onto the building as part of the Honeysuckle Lights event.
The building was originally designed and used for the fabrication and repair of railway carriages, and the university wanted the animation to take this into consideration, even if abstractly.
We created a colourful motion piece which embodied the movement of steam being driven into chambers.
Client: University of Newcastle
Art direction and CG production: Forge & Morrow
